"Emphasize the Flaws" - Direct Animation
In this animation, I used a Direct Animation technique, or also known as Drawn-On-Film Animation. I used markers and inks to draw directly on film. I then ran it through a projector and recorded it. I created additional effects by remixing various clips in Adobe Premiere while also adding audio to it.
"The Depths" - Stop Motion Animation
In this animation, I used a Stop Motion Animation technique with found objects such as images in magazines, books, earrings, gummy bears, and more...
"What's my Phone Number??" - Animation
I used Procreate and Adobe Premiere to create this animation. I often forget what my phone number is the moment someone asks me what it is, so I wanted to capture the feeling of what happens in my brain when someone asks.
"Guitar Frog" - Animation
I used Procreate and Adobe Premiere to create this animation. Just your average every day frog jamming out.

The League of Legends Rise animation study was done entirely on paper with pen and watercolor. Here was my process:
1) I watched the original video to pick a time frame that I wanted, I then saved the clip link and studied it on loop
2) I considered how many frames I was willing to make at the time (approximately 30)
3) I then calculated how many frames I would fit per second and started saving screenshots of each frame. Some sections, I decided to include more frames as I felt they were important parts of the animation.
4) I checked how the screenshots looked as an animation, and then started sketching the frames in pen
5) I decided to leave the first part of the animation entirely in pen and paper and switch to watercolor to create an epic impact for the beat drop
6) I took photos of each completed frame and added them altogether in a video
One of the first animation studies that I have done is from the music video for "Daechwita" by Agust D.
